About Deep Focus —
Deep Focus designs videos for corporate and commercial use, as well as for the arts and cultural events. We are a small production company, which allows us to work closely with the finest freelancers who work in the fields of cinematography, sound, music and art direction.
Although Deep Focus was founded and is operated by Guido Verelst, Guido also works as a freelance director for different production companies.
After earning a Master’s in French literature at Antwerp University, Guido studied theater and film at the Université de Strasbourg. He earned a Master’s from Brussels Film School INSAS in directing. Since 2000, he works as a freelance director, editor, and producer under the name DEEP FOCUS.

For more than four years, Guido Verelst has been working on his documentary "Under The Surface", which premiered on March 23, 2024, during the Docville Documentary Festival. A Storyhouse production.
